Labour MEPs at Labour Party Conference 2016

24 August 2016

Labour's MEPs will once again be at the Labour Party Conference this autumn. This year's conference will be in Liverpool from September 24-28. We'll have a fringe event, a rally and our exhibition stand.

Here are details of our events:

Monday 26 September, 12:30-14:30

Securing a progressive Brexit: Protecting Labour’s hard-won EU victories

With a narrow majority voting to leave the EU and a new Tory Prime Minister in office, attention must turn to protecting our hard-won gains during the forthcoming Brexit negotiations. Vital workers’ rights, protections for consumers and environmental measures must be defended by Labour.

Join us as we discuss how Labour can achieve the best deal for Britain.

Speakers include Glenis Willmott MEP (Labour’s Leader in Europe); Tim Roache (General Secretary, GMB); Lisa Nandy MP (MEmber of Parliament for Wigan); Anushka Asthana (Political Editor, The Guardian); plus more to be announced
