Jude Kirton-Darling Visits Annfield Plain

09 May 2016

Jude Kirton-Darling MEP visited Tannfield Community Centre in Co. Durham to discuss the Labour In For Britain campaign with party members.

She gave a short talk about the benefits of the EU and answered members questions.

Jude Kirton-Darling MEP said:

"It is so important for the County Durham that we vote to remain in the EU.

"Projects across County Durham have been funded by EU money, including the Bowes Museum, Beamish and Tanfield Lea Business Centre.

"Being in the EU creates jobs and growth, protects our rights, keeps us safe, and improves our environment, and is the only good decision for the people of the North East."

Do you think the North East needs its own voice in the EU exit negotiations?
