Guisborough – Market Town

Guisborough is a historic market town which received £1million in funding to boost local businesses and tourism via the Rural Development Fund for England, which is part funded by the European Union.

The picturesque high street and surrounding area benefitted from the investment to help attract more tourism so that the town could act as a base for surrounding highlights such as Roseberry Topping, MIMA and beautiful Staithes on the coast. So there’s plenty of reasons for you to come and wish EU were here!

Do you think the North East needs its own voice in the EU exit negotiations?
