Forests for nature

While it’s entirely appropriate for the majority of EU forests to be ultimately commercially orientated around timber production, it is also important that significant sections of forests, especially our more ancient woodlands, are set aside from timber production and are entirely focused on the preservation of their complex bio-diversity.
